Hi everybody.
Oh man was partying all night and then had some fun games with shane orcun and renz. Sorry won't post tonight
Hahaha, oh god it's too true.
How does it work to go up in the ranks excactly?
The End.
I've just thrown out some ideas, but nothing has been agreed upon.
I'd like the system to work so that an individual player in a lower tier can challenge an individual player in a higher tier to a match (maybe 2 out of 3 games to win). They probably play a 2v2 game, but I'm not sure what our rules should be on what's the fair way to decide who would participate in the match. Should the tier 2 challenger get paired with a tier 1 player to fight against 2 tier 1's, etc?
Anyway, we don't have the list finished yet, but I personally don't want our list to just be about submitting replays, etc to move up. I want people to be able to move back and forth through the ranking pretty quickly for anyone that wants to participate so that instead of the list being just a ego boost for some, it might add another layer of fun. If we don't come up with a clear, decent system for moving up in rank, our list will stay just a silly list.
well a pretty clear way to decide would be if the guy thinks he should be in say tier 1 then he should tell us which of the tier ones he can beat. if he says he can only beat one of the tier ones then itll have to be a 1v1 if he thinks he can beat 2 or 3 then 2v2 or 3v3. coming up with teammates should be his responsability since its he's the one challenging.for this system to work the first list the committee comes up with needs to be some what accurate.also this system works well because if said challenger wins then the tier one he beat has his skill questioned by the community and thus will be lowered down a tier or 2.by doing this then the list is ever fluctuating and those that are nicked down will have to work at getting back up to where they were before and if they cant then it shows that they were never ment to be in that tier in the first place.some guide lines to challenging should be that you cant challenge the one who beat you or challenge the same person twice in a certain period of time lets say a week perhaps.
Another factor should be, that the challenger has to obey the game rules of the person challenged. So the challenged person decides the hosts settings like map etc. The reasons is, that if you are really better than the players on a higher tier, you should be able to beat them on their home ground
Or another option would be to make the same rules for all games.
woohoo! fast game speed with grunts on high and towers on low
I think a simple posting of games were a lower tier player has beaten higher tier players in a balanced game.
And please for the love of god try not to make excuses for why you lost if you are a higher player when these replays are linked here.
I did that then everyone screamed at me.
How about we create a ladder on cases ladder and let the rankings work themselves out?
Since nothing has happened here lately and there still isn't many 1.3 replays uploaded, I decided to post a few. All 3 could be considered clan matches pretty much, any commentary is welcome..

2/3 are good games, the tower rook one I only posted because Cow and I were discussing Rook recently and he offended me just before the game started.
The Anklet Reg one shows a nice turnaround by Brandon after I was certain he was going to completely fail since he died early due to not selecting his favour item. Not sure if he was planning the blood of the fallen trick or what, but after that and just generally a terrible start to the game he got it together. He has my vote to get on the list, even though I told him he lost it after almost blowing the game early.
So if zengod makes the next post in this thread, that will be the closest to a 'clan' activity as we've come!
Lol hey, we almost had that game with 4 GMs on the same team the other night, if not for the fail connections of Janook and Zen it could have been a glorious return. We are making progress.
oh so he plays like me eh? He's clearly been reading up on my strats - give the other team first blood often. This provides them with a false sense of confidence so they make mistakes later on. Also, for those rare times that you don't die first, you'll dominate even easier!
howd you get your account back
