Also, I'd like to make Renz part of the committee, the guy plays with more people then me so he probably has a much fresher opinion on people while remaining equally unbiased when ask for a real opinion, do any other rep's object to this? I consider renz to be just as good as me in pure fighting situations.

So the committee should be 80% OMG players and also moderated by the least intelligent person in OMG?  It's not as if you are going to generally have the same opinion?  Go back to it being just your list if you're going to completely ignore what Koush has to say.

that's a wee bit rude, but note that moderating and being on the committee aren't the same thing - howbout has simply offered his time to update the OP as requested by the committee. 

Everyone that is currently in the committee all have somewhat different opinions on talent - that's my take on it.  Note the tier 1 list I provided - not a single OMG member in it... isn't that strange?  I guess I'm just going to vote for my pals as being the best at the game, eh?  And note koush's list - he essentially just voted up the folks he plays with on a regular basis.  That's not to say Koush's opinion is invalid, I'm simply suggesting that adding someone that's simply going to agree with Koush doesn't add all that much value if we are trying to come to a consensus based on varied points of view.  What do you think are the odds that everyone in Koush's tier 1 list would vote each other to tier 1? 

Anyway, my take is that the people that are on the committee will all vote a bit differently.  Then we get our initial list setup.  Then we have matches and people that think they have been placed incorrectly can fight it out, earn the place in the correct tier, and that's all there is to it.  I really expect that the committee should ONLY be useful for initial placement.  Anyway, I don't have the final say as it is a committee, I just think different viewpoints of experienced players is the best way to go for the list's creation instead of the same view point from a few players that regularly play together. 

I love people who think like Koush. If there are two clans, a fair committee should have 50% from each ! Look at the membership for OMG compared to all the other clans. Of course the majority goes to OMG.

Tbh, I think Zen god and Renz would be better in this then Ninki and Teseer. Zen_God understands that most of what people are saying is stupid and Renz, while I agree to some lengths that we do share common opinions (We do differ about builds), he is still more relevant then Ninki. Also, as Shane mentioned, we just can't have OMG running the show featuring boxxy, I think a way better committe panel would be:

Boxxy_Koush

Pacov

Renz

Zen_God

McShane

And maybe Zex (Or teseer, not sure).

2 Boxxies, 2 OMG's and 2 GM's.

I think this would provide a much thought out tier system, rather then us having to go through Ninki's know everything, can't do nothing approach in which he never ever backs down from a point unless it is sugar coated via a friend. Ninki has even said give the list to someone who cares, so I see no reason why he should be on it or even moderate.

I don't think everyone would upkeep your high standards (from OMG).

I'm not sold on the idea that all OMG members (Aside from you) would vote differently...You make some valid points of course, but with the selected committee individuals I'm not sold on the idea that they will create the best viewpoints.

Honestly, I'd be fine not being on this committee, so if me bowing out helps, I don't mind.

I also think Pacov and Zex should be the only ones from OMG deciding on rankings. 

The committee should be Rawrr, Zen_God, Koush, Pacov and Zex. I'm ok with OMG having a greater share since there's 150 of them, but not 80% of the committee.

Teseer should def be in there, probably the only person that will be non-bias about every decision.

Yeah, no shit.  Teseer is awesome, and everyone else seems to have bullshit with other people for absolutely no fucking reason other than they like to stir the pot.

That being said, this list is still an egomaniacal bullshit fest.  This is a game, especially for those of you who rage incessantly on vent.  You know who you are.
